Oracion por Tolerancia (Prayer for Tolerance) , by: Jill Rauh

Estimado Señor, nosotros que somos
separados
desamorados
prejuicios a veces
inclinados a malinterpretar
intolerantes

En cambio haznos
unidos
cariñosos
abiertos a aprender
comprensivos e indulgentes

Que tu espíritu esté presente en nosotros como estás en toda gente

In Memory of Rosa Parks, A Role Model for Justice and Peace , by: Jane Deren

We thank God for your life, Sister Rosa Parks.
You sat down for justice,
So hundreds of thousands of Americans could stand up in dignity.
You were the spark of the non-violent Civil Rights Movement,
The catalyst that changed an entire society,
Helping us all to recognize the unjust system of segregation.

We are thankful for your generous spirit and quiet courage
That gave hope to so many and that inspired an entire generation.
You will remain a role model for us,
Reminding us what one person can do

Prayer for a Diverse Community , by: Education for Justice

Creator of all races and ethnicities,
help us see that a diverse community is the way
to deepen our lives and to know you more deeply.

Guide us to see that entering into a vital and just relationship
with others who are different from us
is the way to make ourselves whole.

Guard us from fear of the other,
from the fear that our own security is threatened
if we become truly willing to make a place at the table for all.

Open us to live out what we profess to believe:
