Water for Life: Resources on Water to Celebrate World Water Day - March 22
Monday, March 22, is the annual celebration of World Water Day. This is a day set aside by the United Nations to give international attention to water issues in every country. This year the theme is, Clean Water for a Healthy World, and it’s purpose is to emphasize that both the quality and the quantity of global water resources are at risk. More people die from unsafe water than from all forms of violence, including war, says the United Nations Secretary General’s statement.
