This resource identifies some of the ways in which mass tourism can negatively impact the lives and lands of indigenous peoples around the world. This vision of tourism is then contrasted with "responsible tourism," as well as Pope John Paul II's understanding of tourism. Also included are discussion questions and information on two "alternative tourism" programs.
