Social Justice Issues Raised by the Movie Blood Diamond

The movie Blood Diamond has helped to spark awareness about conflict diamonds: diamonds that are often harvested illegally and used to fund ongoing conflicts in places like Cote d'Ivoire and Sierra Leone.
