Reflection & Prayer for Mine Workers
Thirty-Three mine workers in Chile are currently trapped alive 2,200 feet underground. It could be more than a month before they are rescued. Recent tragedies in the U.S. and elsewhere have highlighted the danger of mining.
This three-page resource includes a prayer and reflection for mine workers, connections to Catholic social teaching and action suggestions to lend your voice to new mine safety legislation. Especially this labor day, for all those who work in the mining or extractive industries and to pray especially for the families affected by this recent tragedy.
