A Pilgrimage for Peace in the Holy Land
Each year, the Vatican sponsors a "marathon-pilgrimage" for peace in the Holy Land in order to encourage dialogue in this conflict-ridden part of the world. This resource provides instructions for you to organize your own marathon-pilgrimage for peace in the Holy Land. Participants make stops during the pilgrimage to learn about twelve important aspects of the situation in the Holy Land. At the end of the pilgrimage, participants gather together to pray a litany that utilizes special symbols.
