Juno: Film & Catholic Social Teaching
The film, Juno, provides a timely tool to look at issues central to life. The film focuses on the dignity of life, particularly the life of the unborn, and the dignity of the human person. It provides a strong, voiceless statement against the violence of abortion and reflects an appreciation for the essential ingredients of successful marriage relationships. This film provides an understanding of the importance of idealism in adolescent life and offers a vision of justice as simply caring for another, particularly one in the womb.
